It seems mother nature is reclaiming her land, it won`t be long before she has completed her quest.  Unlike many other small towns , there is not much through traffic here, the only reason a non-resident  would be here is because he is totally lost or he wants to be here??

Look close you will see a man trimming the hedges, and a boy on the sidewalk in front of the house .  Can you place which house this is , I am not sure ??

Note that this house is directly across the street from the old recreation center. Also note the wash tubs hanging on the back porch and the entrance to the cellar.

Can you name any of these boys, or the house?........think about it!  The young man bottom right looks familar??

Note the old type radio and the radiator, this had to be a bosses house.

Does this name ring a bell? note its a duplex house, another family on the other side.

Great view of Elbert Bottom and the Heights and of Pinchback, the houses look very new and clean!

Looks like early forties, busy place!

Can anyone remember back this far? I can`t !!.....The restaurant was divided in half for blacks and whites !!
